“Sometimes the only thing he could do was to consume large quantities of mead and then retreat to the shower room. He would stand in the dark, contemplating the woes of life until the hot water turned cold”

– from The Man Who Couldn’t Think, a series of short stories containing words, sentences and paragraphs. The printed version contains some empty pages. There are no pictures.

These were the end of days

These were the times of silence

After the clocks stopped ticking

Before the earth stopped spinning

These were the end of days

These were the times of solace

After the sun stopped rising

Before the everlasting darkness

fell

Death By A Thousand Feathers

chained to fluttering pick-up drones / our binary stars colliding / uncoordinated corruption / leaving wings burnt / and CPU restarting

Note: title inspired by title of poem by @asorcererpoet .

Ministry of Lust

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
Pebbles mixed with Grains of Salt
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
Shamed as New Underwear; soiled

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
No Humour laughed as Passion swooned
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
Pride stood and fell; fooled

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
Envied Tounge bit the Dust
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
Silent Hills in darkness; filled

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
Death was present; all around
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
The Feedback too Strong; Down Down Down

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
Fish swam the Oceans; wordlessly
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
Taxes rose as Pebbles watched; dreaming

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
Passion stumbled on Fish; leggings
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
Death lurking in Hills; barren

At the Ministry of Bad Decisions
No Humour met Taxes; heartly agreeing
A Hope echoed through Barren Landscapes
as he reached the summit; empowered and
humming

humming a song

of trust

of hope

of lust

Bow of Hope

My purpose here is to write bad poetry, for you to get inspired and write better, so that in the end I get to read about our darkest hours wrapped up in dreams with a bow of hope

Note to self

It doesn’t matter how much you try and avoid the news to keep the suspense up when the first thing you do is to watch the post-race show. The pre-race show is the better option…
