In an earlier incarnation, Hayden Veil enjoyed a successful career in software engineering, writing late-night poetry in pursuit of sanity. On 2 February 2020, the world of Hayden Veil changed: Ghosts became real and with its soul laid bare there was no turning back from the perpetual path of poetry.

The adventure continued with Imbalance in 2021. An attempt to further explore the composition of a poetry collection by incorporating graphics to accompany the
poetry.

The third and final part of the trilogy, Bumblebee, was released in 2023. This saw the return of handwritten poetry in an attempt to create a deeper and more authentic reading experience.

A fourth, and likely to be the final poetry collection, Theatre of Mischief, was released in 2024.
