breaking out

perception is a locked room / with curtains closed / a clear light bulb in the corner / broken / I kick the door / no more walls / to stop this madness / no more walls / to stop these words / I am breaking out / going global / I am breaking free / today

“Dear God, please help him cry one last time. Make him see clearly the errors of his ways, then nudge him onto the path of recovery and grace”

– prayer for the fallen

“Sometimes the only thing he could do was to consume large quantities of mead and then retreat to the shower room. He would stand in the dark, contemplating the woes of life until the hot water turned cold”

– from The Man Who Couldn’t Think, a series of short stories containing words, sentences and paragraphs. The printed version contains some empty pages. There are no pictures.

These were the end of days

These were the times of silence

After the clocks stopped ticking

Before the earth stopped spinning

These were the end of days

These were the times of solace

After the sun stopped rising

Before the everlasting darkness

fell

Death By A Thousand Feathers

chained to fluttering pick-up drones / our binary stars colliding / uncoordinated corruption / leaving wings burnt / and CPU restarting
