I planned to start a new chapter

a new puzzle if you will

without too many pieces

keeping it simple

every day,

forgetting though 

I fail to count 

the hours in a day and 

rarely hold the Ace of Spades 

in any winning hand,

forgetting also primarily 

a plan is incomplete 

until the maps are drawn

and characters in place 

the Master of Puppets – the

puller of strings – a fickle mind

filled with expanding dreams,

the road to ruin 

began this day
