There is a discrepancy 

       {A Something; yet immeasurable} 

Between the passing of time 

       {Be it seconds,  minutes, days 
                                                 or eons}

And the aging as seen by man.

Ten years 

        {5 million minutes}

since our paths crossed 

        {I do remember, yet do not
            believe the maths for I am
              same; similar at least}

and the earthquakes are still felt

     {daily}
