a step too far

I dreamt of physical intimacy – once

or was it just a hug?

Mayhap I dreamt a dream of hugs

my mind in mud – I cannot recall,

Though my desires far outreach

just dreaming, I do fall back to

dreaming dreams as

hoping for actuality

asserting would be

a step too

far
