THEY STOOD AND FELL

They stood as Is

side by side

with waves approaching

shore in silence

fear ruling

momentarily gasping

for air

Battering waves

rising towers

God have mercy

crushing power

bringing down

wraths of daemons and

gods forgotten

leaving none

standing –

all fallen
